A memorial Mass for Gina Merullo, proprietor of Salon Silhouette in Belmont, will be said June 2 at 6:45 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church in Watertown.

Miss Merullo died April 3 in an automobile accident during a ski trip in New Hampshire. She was 29 and lived in Malden.

Miss Merullo in 1979 succeeded her grandmother, Mildred Mercurio, as owner of the hair-cutting salon. She was also a hostess at the Stockyard Restaurant in Brighton.

A native of Belmont and a resident there until shortly before her death, Miss Merullo graduated from the Robert and Richard Beauty School in 1976.

She leaves her parents, William J. of Malden and Carol (Mercurio) of Belmont; a brother, William D. of Malden, and her grandparents, Dominic A. and Mildred (Crescetelli) Mercurio of Belmont.

Gina is the fourth from the right in the first row of girls.
